Kim is under fire again for appropriating black culture, and this time it comes from snaps from her new cosmetic line KKW Beauty and her skin is very dark way more darker than her natural complexion.
And people are pegging this as just Kim being Kim using black culture to make money but never giving back to that culture her and her family capitalize off of.
Her excuse? She simply had a REALLY dark tan, a lot more darker than usual and none of her entourage questioned it.
Kim stands by the pictures, and told the NYTimes…
I would obviously never want to offend anyone.
I used an amazing photographer and a team of people. I was really tan when we shot the images, and it might be that the contrast was off. But I showed the image to many people, to many in the business. No one brought that to our attention. No one mentioned it.
